Personal Testimony

Today my sister for the first time had someone say to her “I want what you
have”. It is the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. If you have
never had someone say this to you, pray for it to happen. It is a most
exhilarating experience in the Lord. Others can see the presence of God in your
life, and they want that same peace you exhibit when things are falling down all
around you. They see you standing when chaos breaks out and chaos is also in
their lives. They begin to wonder what is holding you together in the midst of
your circumstances. You are waiting for God to move to change your circumstances
or change your attitude toward the circumstances.
A friend of the family came for a visit with a need in their life that seemed to
have no answer. The circumstances were such that many emotions could overtake
and overwhelm this friend. There seemed to be no positive outcome to this
situation. This friend had asked Jesus into their heart last April. The enemy of
our soul will always try to cause dissention in our life, trying to interfere
with our time to fellowship with God. So this particular day the raging darts of
the enemy were fired into their life. The day was spent with my sister and they
talked about many problems that God has helped her overcome. When this friend
went home working on chores and crying out to the Lord for the need and desires
in life, God answered in a very visual and audible way. This friend heard from
God “I will take away your pain. I will meet your need, not your want. I will
provide for you.” Exhilaration followed this and we heard the testimony of God’s
faithfulness. Much like Paul encouraged believers in his day; we need to share
one with another to build our most Holy faith. Through exercising our faith, we
can rejoice when one believer has a personal experience with God in vision and
God’s message for their life.
