Outdoor R.O.C.K. Concert

Last month, the R.O.C.K. hosted an Outdoor Worship Concert for our surrounding communities.  Through the help and hard work of our youth and adult volunteers, it was a great success. 

The week before the concert, many of the youth and leaders passed out fliers for the event to Four Oaks, Plantation, Andover, and many other nearby neighborhoods.  The event, and everything that went into it, was quite an undertaking for the R.O.C.K.  It really stretched us to do something we hadn’t done before, in faith that God would pull us through it. 

In addition to the full-size stage that was built for the band, there was also a hurricane booth, a dunk tank, game booths, a moonwalk, quality sound, professional lighting, fun, fellowship, and a fully loaded concession stand.  Fritzy Bros. One Man Circus made a special appearance, and kept the crowds laughing between worship sets. 

We give our loving thanks to all of the workers, helpers, entertainers, advertisers, donors, and planners for the concert; we’re one step closer to our new roof because of you.  To God be the glory!
